About Us

Developer merch deserves a better marketplace

Have you ever tried to find a specific, limited-edition AWS merch on a marketplace like Vinted or Depop? You'll end up scrolling through actual ski jackets. True story.

The algorithms just don't get it. They don't understand that a "Kubernetes Hoodie" isn't just a piece of clothing. It's a trophy, a memory of a specific deployment, or a badge of honor from a 2018 conference.

The truth is: people in tech love merch. Our laptops are covered in stickers that represent our stack. Our closets are filled with high-quality hoodies, socks, mugs, and caps. Loots picked up from onboarding kits, global tech conferences, and partner events. But until now, there was no dedicated peer-to-peer marketplace to buy and sell these collector items.

What is Looties? More Than Just a Marketplace

Looties was born out of a need for a dedicated place for tech enthusiasts. We realized that "Swag" is the unofficial language of the developer world, yet most of it sits in the back of closets or ends up in landfills because there wasn't a curated place to re-home it.

We aren't just another e-commerce site; we are a specialized ecosystem for the tech community. Think of us as:

A museum of tech culture, but wearable.

A home for the things HR forgot to collect back.

A platform that smells like conference coffee.

A place for everything you loved from that one booth you don't remember.

We Are Building in Public (And We're Just Getting Started)

We don't pretend to be perfect or "finished." In the true spirit of DevOps and agile development, we are building in public. This means we ship fast, we listen to user feedback, and we iterate constantly.

Whether you are a developer looking to declutter your "swag drawer" or a collector searching for a piece of Silicon Valley history, Looties is your home. We are moving beyond the generic "second-hand" experience to create something that reflects the passion of the tech industry.
